Dan Cortese

My name is Dan Cortese and I have lived in Hemet for 28 years. I am married with two sons, ages five and eight. I joined the Rotary Club of Hemet on Aug. 8, 2018 and I am now serving as the Club President for 2020-2021. I have worked for the City of Hemet for over 14 years and I am currently responsible for managing environmental programs for the Public Works Department. My specialty is in stormwater, water quality, jurisdictional permit programs and working closely with regulatory agencies. I serve on many committees for training and public education at the county level. I have a bachelor’s degree in Business with an emphasis in Public Administration and a Master degree in Organizational Leadership. I volunteer as a baseball coach with Valley-Wide Recreation and Park District. I enjoy hiking in the local mountains and playing softball at Valley-Wide. I am driven to serve my community, and I am committed to making a positive and lasting impact in the lives of others. I am honored and proud to serve as a board member for the Valley Community Pantry.
