Executive Director

Phil Burch brings a lifelong commitment to service, strong nonprofit leadership, and deep community roots to his role as Executive Director of Valley Community Pantry. He also continues to serve as Executive Director of Central County Community Foundation, formerly Central County United Way, where he leads initiatives focused on strengthening families, supporting seniors, and addressing critical community needs.

Phil has extensive experience in nonprofit governance and operations, having previously served as Director of Operations for ServiceMaster Professionals, where he developed expertise in organizational management, logistics, and service delivery. His background uniquely positions him to lead mission-driven organizations with both compassion and operational excellence.

A dedicated member of Lions Clubs International, Phil has served in numerous leadership roles, including Past District Governor, and remains actively involved in advancing Lions’ mission of service, humanitarian outreach, and community impact. His Lions experience reflects his belief in servant leadership, collaboration, and “kindness in action.”

Phil’s connection to Valley Community Pantry spans many years. Before leading United Way and the Community Foundation, he served as Chairman of the Board for Valley Community Pantry, working closely with staff, volunteers, and community partners to expand access to food and support for those in need. Returning now as Executive Director, he brings both institutional knowledge and a renewed commitment to sustaining and growing the Pantry’s mission.

Phil looks forward to continuing the vital work of Valley Community Pantry—helping ensure that individuals and families facing food insecurity are met with dignity, compassion, and hope—while building strong partnerships that strengthen the community as a whole.
